The property — a magnificent 12,000 square foot Mediterranean-style mansion set on over half an acre of prime Beverly Hills real estate — had been struggling for years with a natural grass landscape that simply could not keep pace with the property’s architectural grandeur. Despite a dedicated full-time groundskeeping team and a sophisticated irrigation system consuming tens of thousands of gallons of water every single month, the estate’s sweeping front lawn, expansive rear garden, motor court borders, pool terrace, tennis court surrounds, and private putting green consistently fell short of the immaculate, permanently pristine appearance that a property of this caliber deserved. The homeowner — a prominent Los Angeles business executive — had a clear and uncompromising vision: every square foot of grass on the estate needed to look absolutely perfect every single day of the year, in every season, regardless of weather, drought restrictions, or maintenance schedules.
The complexity of this project demanded months of meticulous pre-installation planning. The installation itself was executed across three carefully sequenced phases over eighteen business days — a logistical achievement that required coordinating a team of twelve specialist installers working simultaneously across multiple property zones while maintaining complete respect for the estate’s security protocols, the family’s privacy, and the immaculate condition of the surrounding hardscape, landscaping, and architectural features throughout every day of the project.
